I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP), Health Professionals Council (HPC) and the Association of Paediatic Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP). I qualified from Bradford University in 2002. I have over 10 years experience working in the area of paediatrics and specialise in working with children with a range of neuro-developmental conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome and Developmental Co-ordination Disorder.
I have worked at Bradford Hospital Trust, Neurological Institute at Southern General Hospital in Glasgow and Mid Yorkshire Hospital Trust. Whilst working at Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust.
I have completed a Masters in Rehabilitation Studies and have experience using Bobath treatment methods. I use a variety of techniques that are designed to suit each individual child and will formulate a comprehensive treatment plan that includes monitoring requirements for specialist equipment and orthotics.
Over the last 10 years I have developed my skills on both a professional and personal level and have a real passion for the field of paediatics. My approach is child centred to ensure the family are fully involved to give the child the best possible chance at achieving their goals.
